Description

A sweet, mild, fruity & fragrant curry made with succulent chicken thigh pieces from British farms. The sauce is sweetened with sultanas and apricots and made creamy with single cream & coconut milk.

Meal comes with a separate side of Pilau rice - ready to reheat in a convenient single portion microwavable pouch (125g).

Note we recommend reheating tray and pouch separately.

Our serving suggestion Serve with Parsley Box Pilau rice & some steamed mustardy greens. Try something a little different by transferring the curry into an ovenproof dish and adding a top crust of ready rolled puff pastry. Simply egg wash and bake for 20 mins in a preheated oven set at 200C. Makes a delicious Chicken curry pot pie!

    Cooking Instructions

    Fruity Chicken Curry (1371): For best results please microwave. Microwave: Remove sleeve, pierce film several times and place in microwave.

    The following is a guide only. 850W microwaves: Full power for 1 minute 30 seconds. 1000W microwaves: Full power for 1 minute 20 seconds.

    After heating allow to stand for 1 minute, then carefully peel back the film, then stir and serve. (CAUTION: hot steam may escape) DO NOT REHEAT.

    Hob: Empty contents into a saucepan, Warm on a low heat, stirring occasionally until piping hot.

    Make sure food is hot throughout and serve.

    Pilau Rice (1326): Knead the grains in the closed pouch. Tear the top of the pouch by 2 cm. Place the pouch upright in the microwave. 850W: Cook on full power for 1 minute. 1000W: Cook on full power for 30 seconds. Remove the pouch from the microwave and tear open. Take care when handling and opening the pouch (caution: hot steam may escape). Microwaves vary. For microwaves of different wattages, adjust the time accordingly.

    To fry: heat a spoonful of oil (15ml) in a wok or frying pan. Add the contents of the pouch and fry over a moderate to high heat for 3-4 minutes. Stir frequently. Do not reheat.
