Chicken Chasseur and Rice
British chicken pieces in a tomato, white wine and tarragon sauce with long grain rice. (350g)

Inspired by a French classic. Succulent chicken thigh pieces are slow cooked in an elegant white wine and tomato sauce with sautéed onions and sliced button mushrooms. Finished with garlic, thyme, and floral tarragon. Served with fluffy long grain rice.
Serving Suggestion: For an easy mid-week supper, serve alongside fluffy long grain rice and steamed tenderstem broccoli.
The perfect ingredient. Simply pop your rice in the cupboard for later and decant your chasseur into an oven proof pie dish, top with ready rolled filo pastry to form a crisp and light pie crust. Brush with melted butter, top with poppy seeds and bake until crisp and golden brown. Serve hot, alongside buttery mashed potato and sliced spring greens.

850W microwaves: Full power for 2 minutes. 1000W microwaves: Full power for 1 minute 45 seconds.
After heating allow to stand for 1 minute, then carefully peel back the film (CAUTION: hot steam may escape) and serve.
DO NOT REHEAT.
Long Grain Rice: Knead the grains in the closed pouch. Tear the top of the pouch by 2 cm. Place the pouch upright in the microwave.
700W microwave: Full power for 1 minute.
After heating allow to stand for 1 minute, then carefully tear open . (CAUTION: hot steam may escape)
