Parsley Box meals can be stored in your cupboard for up to 6 months - so they won’t use precious fridge or freezer space. That means you can tuck in whenever you would like to eat, without having to worry about leaving food out to defrost.

Kevin, our founder, manages the business from our head office in beautiful Edinburgh which means we never lose sight of what’s most important - our customers. Why do the meals not require refrigeration?
Our food is cooked using a special cooking method similar to pressure cooking, where the food is sealed then slow cooked under vacuum, ensuring the flavour and nutrients are locked in. No unnecessary preservatives are used, and the food will then keep fresh for up to 6 months, as long as the seal remains intact.
How long do Parsley Box meals keep for?
Due to our innovative slow cooking technology, inspired by the ‘sous-vide’ method, our meals are safe to store for as many as 6 months. For exact expiry dates please check the packaging. (Ofcourse, sometimes packaging can get damaged - if this happens or something doesn’t look right, please call us and we’ll put it right!)
Do I have to commit to a subscription?
No subscriptions, no tie-in, no obligation - you only receive and pay for Parsley Box meals when you place an order online, on the phone or by post.
How can I place an order with Parsley Box?
We offer three easy ways to order - on our website at www.parsleybox.com, on the phone by calling 0131 326 0131 or by post.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept payment from all major credit and debit cards as well as cheque. Unfortunately we’re unable to accept cash.
I have an offer code - how do I redeem this?
To redeem an offer code please quote it when placing your order on the phone and our Customer Care Team. When ordering online, please enter it on the “My Basket” page above the “Checkout Securely” button. If you are placing a postal order, there is a box at the top right of the back page to write your code in on our order form.
Can I claim a special offer more than once?
All of our offers can be taken advantage of once per customer. This includes our introductory offer which is limited to one per customer. If you’d like a friend to take advantage of an introductory offer, look out for our Refer a Friend leaflet with the first delivery.
How do you use my details?
How do I create an account?
An account will be created for you automatically when you place your first order with us. From then onwards you will have to log into your account to place further orders. You cannot have an account without having placed an order.

How long do you take to deliver?
We offer free 2-3 day delivery when you spend more than £35.00 if you place your order by phone or online by 3pm between Monday and Thursday. This excludes UK Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland.
How do I heat the meals?
All of our packaging will give you clear instructions on how to prepare your meals in both the microwave and the oven. Our meals take approximately 2 ½ minutes to heat in the microwave, please remove the sleeve and pierce film lid of the tray several times first.
Not in a hurry? They can also be heated through in the oven - great to give our mash topped pies a crispy topping! Please transfer the meal into an ovenproof dish and cook for approximately 20-25 minutes at 190°c. Check the packaging for precise cooking instructions for each individual meal.
Do you offer vegetarian or vegan meals?
We are aware vegetarian and vegan food is becoming increasingly popular. We will be re-introducing vegetarian and vegan ranges in the future, once we are confident in the quality of the meals that can be prepared using our specialised cooking method. Watch this space!
Do you offer gluten free meals?
Many of our meals are now Gluten Free. To find these, look out for the green GF icon below our website's products and in our catalogue. Please note our packaging is being updated to reflect the Gluten-Free status. Be assured whilst we are working through this packaging transition, our meals have been tested to the threshold standard regulated by legislation. Look out for the Gluten-Free range expanding later in the year.
Where can I see the allergen information for Parsley Box meals?
Should you require information on allergens or ingredients please refer to the Our Menu section of our website where you can click each individual meal to see a summary of ingredients and allergens.
Where can I see nutritional claims for Parsley Box meals?
Some of our meals are flagged as being low in fat, low in sugar, high in protein, gluten free or containing alcohol. This information can be found next to each individual meal in our catalogue or on our website, hover over the icons below each of the meals to see what they mean.
Do you use additives or preservatives?
Due to the way our food is cooked, we don't need to use artificial preservatives or additives to keep the food fresh for up to 6 months.
Where is our meat sourced?
At Parsley Box we’re proud to support more responsible, thoughtful choices that reflect our values. We are committed to buying British and activity supporting local producers wherever possible. Our chicken and pork are 100% British. Our beef is British and Irish, and we source as much of our lamb as we can in Britain, allowing for seasonal chances, for example, when we’ll import top quality lamb from New Zealand.
