Description

Inspired by a French classic. Succulent chicken thigh pieces are slow cooked in an elegant white wine and tomato sauce with sautéed onions and sliced button mushrooms. Finished with garlic, thyme, and floral tarragon.

Our 3 ways...

For an easy mid-week supper, serve alongside creamy potato dauphinoise and steamed tenderstem broccoli. A quick and easy lunch, simply top with fresh sprigs of tarragon, a spoonful of crème fraiche and serve with crusty buttered bread. Make more dishes, simply decant into an oven proof pie dish, top with ready rolled filo pastry to form a crisp and light pie crust. Brush with melted butter, top with poppy seeds and bake until crisp and golden brown. Serve hot, alongside buttery mashed potato and sliced spring greens.

Our Drinks Pairing Perfect paired with a chilled dry white wine such as a Riesling or an oaky Chardonnay.

    Cooking Instructions

    For best results please microwave.

    Microwave: Remove sleeve, pierce film several times and place in microwave.

    850W microwaves: Full power for 2 minutes. 1000W microwaves: Full power for 1 minute 45 seconds.

    After heating allow to stand for 1 minute, then carefully peel back the film (CAUTION: hot steam may escape) and serve.
