Viv's meal memories

We’re going to eat like kings tonight,” Bob would announce, making a show of putting on his chef’s hat and apron. The kids flocked round him in the kitchen, excited to witness this masterpiece that he was creating. When it was time for dinner, chicken a la king was presented in front of us and we dug in so fast, I’m sure he barely got a taste himself.
