We invite you to join us to help those in need by adding an extra meal to your next order for just £4.95. For every meal you donate, we'll match this.
Description
Last year, Parsley Box introduced a new ongoing campaign where our customers can purchase a Charity Meal as part of their order. Every Charity Meal purchased by our customers is then matched by Parsley Box, and all meals are donated to a UK charity. In 2023, we donated over 19,500 meals to charities and food banks around the UK. At the beginning of this year we asked for nominations from our customers for local charities they wanted to support in 2024, and we will be raising donations for a different one each month.
April's charity is Carecent York.
Carecent is a breakfast centre for all homeless, unemployed or otherwise socially excluded members of their community.
They provide food, clothing and fellowship in a friendly and non-judgemental environment. Their volunteer staff are always ready to listen and offer support and advice where possible. Where appropriate, they work with other agencies in order to move people forward to an improved lifestyle.
