Description
Thoughtfully made for a lighter appetite, our regular meals are now presented under the new name "for the lighter appetite." A classic comfort dish. Tender British minced beef with a rich gravy with onions and carrots, seasoned with a dash of Worcester sauce, cracked black pepper & thyme covered with buttery Yorkshire mashed potato grown locally on the Wolds. A crunchy layer of breadcrumbs and matured cheddar cheese finish off this Classic Cumberland pie.
Our Serving Suggestion
Buttered pan-fried kale makes a delicious flavourful side dish. After baking in the oven scatter over some freshly chopped flat leaf parsley to brighten the flavour!

In terms of the ideal pairing, it’s a toss-up between beer and a dry medium-bodied red wine like Merlot.

Simple to Prepare
For best results please microwave.
Microwave:
Remove sleeve, pierce film several times and place in microwave.
The following is a guide only.
850W microwaves: Full power for 2 minutes 30 seconds.
1000W microwaves: Full power for 2 minutes.
After heating allow to stand for 1 minute, then carefully peel back the film (CAUTION: hot steam may escape) and serve.
DO NOT REHEAT.
Oven:
Remove sleeve and film. Remove the contents from the tray and place in an oven-proof dish.
Place in a preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
ELECTRIC 190°C - FAN 170°C - GAS MARK 5
Make sure food is hot throughout and serve.
