Victoria's meal memories

Looking back, we all took our dinner parties far too seriously. I tried chicken with lemon and ginger sauce one evening, mostly because it sounded impressive. Richard thought it risky, especially with my cooking skills, but it was the first dish that put a smile on the face of even the fussiest of eaters. It became my go-to crowd-pleaser whenever we had company.
