Charity Appeal - Donate a meal

Last year, Parsley Box introduced a new ongoing campaign where our customers can purchase a Charity Meal as part of their order. Every Charity Meal purchased by our customers is then matched by Parsley Box, and all meals are donated to a UK charity. In 2023, we donated over 19,500 meals to charities and food banks around the UK. At the beginning of this year, we asked for nominations from our customers for local charities they wanted to support in 2024, and we will be raising donations for a different one each month.

This month's charity is Black Country Foodbank.

“Black Country Foodbank began in 2006 with 1 foodbank in Stourbridge in the West Midlands. In 2006 that foodbank helped families with 450 meals. In 2023 Black Country Foodbank operates a network of 27 Foodbanks and provided just over half a million meals. We provide a 3-day food and toiletry parcel to families and individuals in need. Our services can provide a breathing space while a longer term solution is developed with the help and advice from front line agencies. While we continue to meet the ever-growing need we use our stats and stories to influence change.”
