Description

British pork belly seasoned with a sea salt and smoked Applewood rub, slow cooked until tender with a scrumpy cider apple sauce. (460g)

Layers of sliced British potatoes in a creamy mature cheddar cheese and Grana Padano sauce, seasoned with cracked black pepper

Ingredients

Pork Belly with Cider Apple Sauce for Two: Pork Belly (81%), Cider (4.6%) (SULPHITES, WHEAT), Water, Sugar, Apple (1.7%) (Apple, Salt), Cider Vinegar, Apple Juice Concentrate, Salt, Cornflour, Maltodextrin, Black Pepper, Onion Powder, Smoked Salt, Yeast Extract, Rapeseed Oil.

Dauphinoise Potatoes: Potato (60%), MILK, Double Cream (MILK), Single Cream (MILK), Onion Puree, Mature Cheddar Cheese (MILK), Grana Padano Cheese (Grana Padano Cheese (MILK), Preservative (EGG Lysozyme)), Garlic Puree, Water, Cornflour, Salt, Rosemary, Cracked Black Pepper, Ground White Pepper)

Cooking Instructions

Pork Belly: Oven Only.

Empty contents of the pouch, putting the apple sauce sachet to one side. Place the meat into the foil tray provided, with the fat layer facing upwards. Place into a pre-heated oven for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven, carefully drain the juices and return to the oven for a further 20 minutes. For a crisper top layer, cook for an extra 5 minutes.

Electric 200°C / Fan 180°C / Gas Mark 6

Make sure food is hot throughout, and leave to stand for 1 minute before serving with the apple sauce.

If vacuum seal on the pouch is broken or damaged DO NOT USE. Once opened consume within 24 hours.

Dauphinoise Potatoes: For best results please microwave. Microwave: Remove sleeve, pierce film several times and place in microwave.

The following is a guide only. 850W microwaves: Full power for 1 minute 20 seconds. 1000W microwaves: Full power for 1 minute 10 seconds.

After heating allow to stand for 1 minute, then remove film and serve. (CAUTION: hot steam may escape) DO NOT REHEAT.

Oven: Remove sleeve and film. Remove the contents from the tray and place in an ovenproof dish, covering the potato with the sauce. Loosely cover with foil. Place in a preheated oven for 25 minutes. Electric - 190C - Fan - 170C - Gas Mark 5

Make sure food is hot throughout and serve.
