Description

One-pot cooking doesn't get much simpler than Irish stew. Tender pieces of leg of mutton, slow-cooked with onions and a rich lamb stock, chunky British potatoes, carrot and peas. British pearl barley is added to the stew which is seasoned with rosemary, thyme and white pepper

Our Serving Suggestion Serve with Colcannon and some crunchy roasted parsnips. This 'big on flavour' wholesome stew needs a simple garnish of a sprig of parsley before serving

    Cooking Instructions

    For best results please microwave. Microwave: Remove sleeve, pierce film several times and place in microwave.

    The following is a guide only. 850W microwaves: Full power for 2 minutes 40 seconds. 1000W microwaves: Full power for 2 minutes 20 seconds.

    After heating allow to stand for 1 minute, then carefully peel back the film (CAUTION: hot steam may escape) stir and serve. DO NOT REHEAT.

    Hob: Empty contents into a saucepan, Warm on a low heat, stirring occasionally until piping hot.

    Make sure food is hot throughout and serve.
