Description

A rich ragu made using British minced beef and pork, smoked bacon and then cooked with tomatoes, red wine & oregano and topped with Fusilli free-range egg pasta

Our Serving Suggestion A simple addition of roasted vine ripened tomatoes drizzled with olive oil or spectacular with Balsamic-laced roasted vegetables. If serious comfort is the order of the day then try adding a garlic butter ciabatta. Scatter with torn basil leaves, shower with extra Parmesan and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil to pimp up the flavour of this pasta Bolognese

Our Drinks Pairing Meat (Bolognese, spaghetti with meatballs, sausage-based sauces) is a logical partner for Sicilian and Puglian reds (especially Primitivo), Sangiovese, Rosso di Montalcino and inexpensive Barbera's Zinfandel is good too

    Cooking Instructions

    Remove sleeve, pierce film several times and place in microwave.

    The following is a guide only. 850W microwaves: Full power for 1 minute 30 seconds. 1000W microwaves: Full power for 1 minute 15 seconds. After heating, allow to stand for 1 minute, then carefully peel back the flim (CAUTION: hot steam may escape) stir and serve. DO NOT REHEAT

    Hob: Empty contents into a saucepan. Warm on a low heat, stirring occasionally until piping hot.

    Make sure food is hot throughout and serve.
