Mac Cheese with Lardons (C1295)
Macaroni Cheese with Beechwood Smoked British Bacon Lardons finished with a Ciabatta & parsley Crumb (350g)
Italian Macaroni Sedanini Rigati pasta, British dry-cured smoked bacon lardons folded into a rich, matured cheddar cheese & Grana Padano roux-based sauce and topped with ciabatta breadcrumbs, mozzarella and parsley Our serving suggestion A simple addition of roasted vine ripened tomatoes drizzled with olive oil or spectacular with Balsamic-laced roasted vegetables. If serious comfort is the order of the day then try adding a garlic butter ciabatta Ultimate comfort food. It’s a meal in itself really, but you could always add a dressed green salad or a little crusty bread on the side. Our drinks pairing Macaroni cheese is not a dish with a traditional or indeed an established wine match. The Galanti prosecco would be a nice pairing - its floral, with a refreshing tang that balances the richness of the mac and cheese and the smoked bacon lardons
