Tarka Dhal
A mildly, spiced dhal with yellow split peas, red lentils, mustard seeds and coriander. (150g)
Description
A mildly, spiced dhal made with soft, slow-cooked yellow split peas, red lentils and mustard seeds cooked with garlic, turmeric, fragrant Indian spices, tomatoes and coriander.
Our serving suggestion Serve with some hot, fresh chapatis brushed with melted butter. Top with chopped fresh coriander and diced fresh tomato.
Our drinks pairing One of the best wines to pair with Tarka Dhal is with a dry or medium dry white wine like Pinot Grigio. The fruity notes and bright acidity of the wine help to carry the spices in the dish and balance its richness.
