Canned Wine Co No.2 Viognier
White wine with peach, jasmine and whipped butter. (250ml)

Description
We have partnered with the Canned Wine Co, to bring you delicious, high-quality accessible wines, made in the most sustainable way possible. They are obsessed about working with Europe's finest winemakers, who know what they're doing and make amazing wines, to deliver their wine in small perfectly portioned cans - without compromised. Not only does canning significantly reduce C02 emissions by over 70% per litre compared to traditional heavy bottles, they ensure the wine is canned at the perfect time to drink. Once canned it's airtight, so it's not going to get any better - you get the best drinking moment first, experiencing the wine at it's most optimum.
Meet No.2 Viognier, ripe and velvety from the Languedoc. Created by one of the masters of Viognier, the talented Laurent Miquel, for Canned Wine Co. It has been partly fermented and matured in Burgundian oak, helping to enhance the wine’s fruit character and add complexity to its long finish. This Viognier has beautiful, pale lemon aromas over white peach, grapefruit, melon and apple peel. The palate is soft, medium bodied and bursting with juicy apple, alongside creamy yoghurt, vanilla and subtle clove spice. Try if you like Chardonnay.
Our Food Pairing Best served alongside delicate meats or seafood, it works well with citrus and aromatic herbs such as Thai basil . We recommend pairing it with our Slow Cook Chicken Chasseur, as the wine will balance nicely with the tarragon and sweet tomato notes.
Please note: we cannot sell this product to anyone under 18 years of age.
